2024 Good Gov Survey Results
LA City Council Candidates
In order to help better inform voters of how candidates plan to restore trust in City Hall we assembled a brief 10 question survey for LA City Council Candidates on good governance issues.
In addition to offering some insight on the candidate's background, platform, and efforts to run a "clean money" campaign the survey covers council size, the future of public financing of elections in LA, ethics charter reform, council's voting system, enhancing the power of a charter commission, ballot access, and remote public comment at committee meetings.
We would like to extend a huge thanks to all of the candidates who took the time to offer their perspectives on these issues during an extremely busy close to this campaign.
We'd also like to thank our review panel (Michele Sutter, Mike Draskovic, Carolina Goodman, Marina Mastros, Jamie York, Tony Weiss, Rob Quan, & Melanie Winter) and everyone else who helped shape this survey for the candidates. Please note, review panelists participated in this process in an individual capacity, not as representatives of an org.
